Pig health and training in South Yorkshire - 13th November 2009
The South Yorkshire Pig Club focused on the Yorkshire and Humberside Health initiative at its latest meeting. Producers heard the latest news first hand and discussed it with the project's Dr Sam Hoste.
Plus, on a different topic, the range of new training opportunities in the East Midland Training Hub were highlighted, to be held at Uncle Henry’s in Lincolnshire.
Producers
at the meeting all saw the benefits of the Yorkshire and Humberside Health plans for health
mapping, the formation of producer clusters and collaboration. There was also more information about a
similar future project for the East
Midlands.
