PORK SATISFIES MODERN ATTITUDES AND TASTES, BUT OCCASIONAL USERS NEED TO GET THE MESSAGE

Two pieces of recent research carried out on behalf of BPEX stand out to provide great encouragement to pork producers and retailers alike. The first shows - reassuringly - that pork scores highly on satisfaction levels among regular users. It is universally enjoyed: 83% of respondents were quite or very satisfied with the overall eating quality of their pork loin steaks: 97% said their steak was tender and succulent. These are extremely encouraging results when compared with satisfaction levels for other foods in similar types of research.
