IPPC Model Applications

A series of model application templates have been prepared to help pig farmers applying for a permit to operate under the Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations, referred to as IPPC.

It is envisaged that using the Models will assist applicants in preparing the necessary documentation. Each Model is published in both PDF and Word format with the exception of the Application Form which is PDF only. The PDF version can be used by those wishing to print the documents for reference only. The Word documents may be used as the basis for an Application, however care must be taken as formatting errors may arise when used.

Copies of the Application Form and Environment Agency Guidance can be obtained from the EA website, www.environment-agency.gov.uk/farming, or by calling their National Customer Contact Centre on 08708 506 506.

These documents are those required for sub-mission with an application, please note in some cases Odour and Noise Management Plans will not be required. In the near future further documents will be made available covering those elements required to be available from the date that a permit is issued.

Pre Application Model Templates

IPPC model application templates available on the BPEX website are designed to reduce the time you will take to complete the application paperwork. Some information required can only be obtained by either writing to the EA (supplied free) or through an information supply company (a charge will be made).
